It seems so long since we donned our northern soul glad rags, popped the kettle on and had you all round to ours for the first-ever ‘IN YER MOUTH’ supper club back in August. A divine concoction of perfectly paired plates and bevs, inspired by all things northern and proper, from Blackpool to Burnley, Manchester to the Midlands.
Our team where dressed to the nines and ready for a boogie, There was Grimsby Tea and Toast, pork belly Parmo, wild rabbit hot pot and Eccles cake, beers from the local and fantastic 7 Brothers Brewery and gin from their marvellous sisters at 4 Sisters Gin all surrounded by sounds provided by Mr Liam Mccue It was a wild success and everyone left warm, fuzzy and full to the top, and we can’t wait to do it all over again!
So Gary & Lau, the masterminds Behind ‘in yer mouth’ are back at it, and what better time than Christmas! On the 28th of November, we’ll be celebrating our unconventional, unpredictable and yet, oh-so-familiar Christmas day rituals here at gorilla!
Think new festive pj’s, bad-but-good Christmas jumpers, cracker prizes, trivia games and monopoly that divides the family. Think fizz with ya breakfast, 70’s style prawn cocktail, surfaces laden with quality streets and quality street wrappers alike, Christmas dinner butties for weeks on end, Sherry and paper party hats galore! Bring your pals, your loves, ya mam and dad, your Christmas spirit and your appetite! And as always we’ll be waiting under the arches for you.
